Key Points

Every year, the published shipping rates for the major carrier changes. On December 26th, 2016, UPS will increase its rates on average by 4.0%1 for ground services and international services and 6.0%1 for domestic air services. FedEx will be increasing its shipping rates on average by 3.9%2,4 effective January 2nd, 2017.
CanadaPost will increase their domestic shipping rates on average by 4.0% and their US/International rates by 3%3.
FedEx and UPS will both have dim divisor of 139 instead of 166 (ie. if your shipments are currently charged based on package dimensions, expect a pretty significant increase in pricing).
Effective Feb 6th, 2017, FedEx will adjust its fuel surcharges for FedEx Express and FedEx Ground on a weekly basis (instead of monthly)
Since Secureship offers you a percentage savings based on the tariff prices of these carriers, it means you will see a small increase in your shipping rates when the carrier raises their rates.
