Frequently Asked Questions About FedEx Delivery Times
Does FedEx deliver on Sunday in Canada?
FedEx does not list Sunday delivery for Canadian shipments. Its Canadian terms define a business day as Monday to Friday, except holidays, and its 2026 Canadian service and rate guides do not mention Sunday at all. Saturday is different: some FedEx Express services and eligible FedEx Ground home deliveries can arrive on a Saturday.
Can FedEx deliver to a PO box?
Not into the box itself. FedEx accepts shipments addressed to a post office box in Canada (not in the U.S.), but its terms state that packages cannot be delivered to post office boxes. FedEx contacts the recipient to collect the package at the closest FedEx location instead, so the recipient's phone number must be on the shipment. Normal delivery commitments and the money-back guarantee do not apply to these shipments.
What time does FedEx deliver until in Canada?
It depends on the service. Standard Overnight, 2Day and Economy deliver by 5 p.m. to businesses and by 8 p.m. to residences, so a home delivery can still arrive in the evening. First Overnight commits to 10 a.m. and Priority Overnight to the morning, and FedEx Ground commits to the end of the scheduled delivery day.
Does FedEx deliver on holidays in Canada?
Holidays are not business days in FedEx's Canadian terms, and a delivery due on a holiday moves to the next business day. FedEx does not print its holiday dates in its Canadian guides, so check its holiday shipping schedule before a long weekend.
How long does FedEx Ground take in Canada?
1 to 7 business days within Canada, depending on the route, with delivery by the end of the scheduled day. A package left in a FedEx drop box gets one extra business day on its commitment. Since 2026, eligible home deliveries can also arrive on a Saturday. Compare FedEx Ground with faster options for your route.
