Does Canpar deliver on Sunday?
No. Canpar does not list Sunday delivery anywhere in its service guide, terms or FAQs. Its standard deliveries run Monday to Friday, with a paid Saturday option for certain services and select destinations. If you need a package by the weekend, see weekend delivery above.
Does Canpar deliver after 5 pm?
To homes, it can. Canpar states that business deliveries are made between 9 am and 5 pm, and residential deliveries as late as 7 pm. It also says it cannot give a smaller delivery window than that. Follow your package with Canpar's tracking tool on the day it is out for delivery.
How many times will Canpar try to deliver?
It depends on the address. Canpar makes one attempt at a residential address, after which the package goes to a secure location in your neighbourhood for pickup. A commercial address gets up to two attempts. You can ask for another delivery attempt by calling Canpar at 1-800-387-9335, but Canpar charges the receiver a fee for it, paid by Visa or Mastercard over the phone. Can Canpar leave a package at my door?
Sometimes. You can leave a signed note on your front door telling the driver where to leave the package, and Canpar calls this its Safe Drop process, at the driver's discretion. Some packages still need a signature in person. Canpar will not leave packages unattended in apartment buildings or condominiums, even with authorization, and its drivers do not call ahead. Does Canpar deliver on holidays?
No. Canpar closes on statutory holidays, and some closures apply only in certain provinces. Over the Christmas peak it also suspends its service guarantees for several weeks and publishes suggested ship-by dates by region. The current dates are on Canpar's holiday schedule.
How long does Canpar Ground take?
Canpar lists Ground at 1 to 4 business days across Canada, based on major city centres, and says transit days vary with the origin and destination.
